Laser Therapy

Cleveland Veterinary Rehabilitation utilizes Class IV deep tissue laser therapy. This type of laser uses a beam of light to deeply penetrate tissues without damaging them. Treatment involves a biological response called 'photobiomodulation' resulting in decreased pain, decreased inflammation, and accelerated healing.

To treat the affected area, the laser light is delivered through a noninvasive hand piece. Your pet will experience a soothing warmth and most treatments can be accomplished in a matter of minutes. This modality has been scientifically proven to effectively treat a wide variety of conditions both acute and chronic.

Laser therapy is part of the multimodal approach to pain management. The frequency of treatments and duration between sessions will be dependent on your pet's condition and response to therapy.
