PulseVet Shock Wave

The PulseVet technology uses high-energy sound waves - called 'pulses' or 'shock waves' - to stimulate and speed healing. The treatment is delivered with a hand-piece, the X-Trode, comfortably to the affected tissues and without the need for sedation. In some cases it can be used as a viable and safe alternative to surgery, a substitute to increased pain medications, or as part of a general rehabilitation program.

Many years of research have demonstrated a reduction in lameness, increased mobility, and pain relief in our patients. Some of the conditions that can benefit from shock wave therapy include osteoarthritis, back pain, wounds, tendon and ligament injuries, and bone fractures.
